A delicious meal was had by all. A very helpful waitress who happily correct an error when the wrong sauce was added to a pasta meal and made it very spicy, inedible. It was a Sunday night so the restaurant was quiet which was perfect for our group. Some of the yummiest chips I've had in ages, don't often eat... More

The restaurant itself is very basic, it hasn't kept up with the times but the food is even worse. The presentation of the food on the plate looked dreadful. Why this restaurants chef needs to cook the vegetables until they are completely dead and then cook it some more and then boil it further amazes me. Great service but an... More

I only ever order sushi when eating out and I do not eat out that often but I do know my sushi. What passes for sushi in South Africa today is a joke. Basically salmon, tasteless frozen crab sticks and equally tasteless frozen prawns. Even tuna is hard to find these days. Ten years ago a decent (Cape Town) sushi... More

Hang out with locals and enjoy local crafted beer and good food ans sushi. Weather permitting, sit upstairs on the deck and watch the world go by. Grilled hake and chips make for a good meal.

We come about once a week for Sushi on the upstairs Terrace, always seems to catch the sun, even in winter. The restaurant and menu have had a make over and looks good. We usually have the Sushi and a chilled bottle of Nedenburg. Good food, nice friendly waiters, and a good view of the mountains.

The visit was fabulous. I've visited King Fisher many times. This was our best visit ever. The matured steak was a big upgrade. Served to perfection. The overall feeling and quality of food has been stepped up a few notches. Well done. We tasted the difference in the added management. I will defenitely refer other clients. Thanks. Tinus and Elize

We have been King Fisher fans since 2012 when we moved to George, the portions were always generous, staff friendly and inviting, real value for money. But since the new owners have taken over the portion size, food quality and customer service has taken a hit. There is only 1 baby seat for the whole restaurant which mean't my 18... More

I found the place to be quite noisy when we were there for dinner. Our dinner took a long time to arrive without so much of an apology or explanation from our waiter. Another waiter even commented that their tables were also waiting forever. The menu has changed slightly and its under new management. Im disappointed they have the normal... More

The restaurant just underwent a revamp. Well done! Total new look. Food is superb. They were still running around to get all the changes done. Despite this huge task, they were open for business.
