Everything about Savoy Cabbage was excellent. We were made to feel very welcome by the staff and given a lovely table. The menu contains a lot of interesting choices. Every item we ordered was delicious, perfectly prepared. The salads were a nice size and the...More

A serious food and wine establishment. Superb cooking and fine wine list, in gracious surroundings. I was fortunate to be there during the annual offal festival, and had wonderful chicken liver parfait with port-soaked figs and equally delicious sweetbreads with mushrooms, capers and chives.

Ordered the cheese souffle for an app and I would order this every single time if I lived here. Wife had duck and I had the fillet. We were both pleased with our meals. I loved my fillet. Creme brulee dessert was awesome! Service was...More

Southern Africa is certainly not the place to eat light meals. Very good food, and very good service, but, please, offer two portion sizes... Good for anywhere in the world!More

I had to smile when I read your review. Others, albeit mainly the South Africans, have commented how small our portions are! We do sometimes do a two size pricing option but only on certain dishes as the meet and fish are portioned according to...More

This restaurant is in a pleasantly converted old building - the atmosphere is chic however and well designed. The cuisine is excellent. I especially recommend the cheese souffle, and the roast duck. Of course it being the Cape the wine list is impressive. Go there,...More

Recommended by nearly everyone and it did not disappoint. There was a really good choice of dishes on the menu (about 10 per course) which was good to find as we had found that some fine dining restaurants only had about 3 choices for each...More

Recommended by our hotel and slightly off the main drag a little way up Hout Street Savoy Cabbage served us one of the best three course meals we have both ever had. The cooking was simply sublime - starters (tomato tartt and cheese soufflé) both...More

Nice restaurant in Cape town! Downstairs and upstairs. Big open kitchen. Good variety of dishes but not to much, so you don't get lost. I recommend the 3 little pigs! Super delicious! Don't forget dessert ...

We couldn't get a table at the first place, so asked for a near by recommendation. We weren't disappointed, we all really enjoyed the food, lots of great flavors and well presented. Attentive professional waiters. It's not cheap, but still worth it for taste and...More

Description
Enjoy creative contemporary cooking in a visually exciting venue. With its historic Table Mountain stone and old brick that dates back to the 18th century, architect Leon Saven's design is complemented by glass, concrete and exposed ducting. Cabbage motif chandeliers and salt dishes, fine table appointments and impeccable service reflect outstanding attention to detail. The menu alters daily, using the freshest local produce and combines unusual flavours to excite the palate of the discerning diner. A boutique wine list which is very reasonably priced.
