Excellent haute cuisine in an elegant historically significant building with breathtaking views of Camps Bay, the Atlantic Ocean and the 12 Apostles. They serve drinks and light meals on the lawn and a lot of people were congregated there to watch the sunset. Some had...More

Service was really good, but food was average & can't stand when a place has the ingredients to make a classic cocktail (old fashioned / daiquiri) but refuse to make it (??) pet hate. View was incredible, it's worth a visit just for that.

No there is no dress code, but I suppose shorts and flip flops would be a little too casual.

Steeped in over 300 years of history, the former guard house, tea room, hotel and the hunting lodge of Lord Charles Somerset has been elegantly restored with the charm and sophistication of the Grand Old Cape. The style of cuisine at The Roundhouse is uncomplicated, contemporary French, inspired by seasonal ingredients and paired with one of the finest boutique wine collections in South Africa.
