I love the kitsch safari decor - for example the barmen and waiters wear leopard print waistcoats. The view and location is absolutely stunning, right on the edge of the ocean with a view of the setting sun, surrounded by nature and mountains. And of course the whole hotel is top class. Expect to pay slightly more for drinks, but... More

This is upstairs and there are places to sit both inside and out. It was sunny and a bit breezy and we wanted to sit outside and asked if the awning could be opened across the balcony with a view out to sea. Apparently it has a wind sensor that automatically closes it and therefore it couldn’t. It wasn’t really... More

Another rating that needs more than a 10 … just Fantastic. Everyone who works in the Bar makes everyone welcome. Special thanks to Tyronne, Fabian, Richard, Malcolm, Mischa and the manager, we didn’t recall his name.

Great little hotel bar where the staff are always keen to test new recipes and designs on you. Worth a visit even if you aren't a hotel guest.

What a shame. A clear lack of leadership and training is so evident here with lots of staff rushing about like busy fools, although individually very friendly and happy. We had booked a table, arrived early and set up at an outside table to watch the sunset ( which is amazing), trying to get a drink was a real challenge... More

Sunsets are ubiquitous, they're everywhere on planet Earth. But finding the best place to have your sundowner, well now, that a different story. I recommend, even for a day trip and if you're not staying over (you really should...) then The Leopard Bar and terrace are just too gorgeous not to experience at least once!

This bar is located in the Twelve Apostles Hotel and has both and inside area and an outside area (a balcony). You need to book! For years we have just arrived and it has never been an issue but this time we needed a reservation otherwise you cannot even park in the garage. We had an issue initially because despite... More

We popped into the leopard bar for a drink and to enjoy the view. The view on the balcony is absolutely stunning. We finished our first drink and enjoyed the view so much that we decided to order another drink. However, we had to wait for ages for a waiter to notice us. Eventually we got someone's attention and we... More

We just wanted to have a drink on the balcony. After a long 20' wait, since no one seemed to have noticed our presence, I called twice for a waited. They both ducked and dived. Strange... Eventually got one. After another 15' we got our order. Well at least for 2 of us, since the third cocktail wasn't what we... More
