I have been to this distinctive restaurant on any amount of special occasions particularly when our family comes to town. This is the place where we have these intimate times together, and we have always been thoroughly impressed with the high quality food and lovely presentation as well along with the ambience internally and the setting itself as totally unique... Set right on the beach at Wilderness this is one of the best locations o watch the rollers of The Indian Ocean crash onto the sandy beach that stretches for miles . We visited the restaurant twice during our visit to The Garden route . The first time for lunch and the second time for dinner and both times the... More

This place covers the boat. Whether you're looking for a cocktail or beer, a tapas snack to a full meal, its good. The setting is stunning and casual yet the actual look of the restaurant is high end. My first night eating here, I had a steak which reminded me of my childhood when going to a classic South African... More

Staff was friendly and the service was good! Great views of the beach and sea! But the seafood platter at Salinas we had was a bit dissapointing . It didn't taste dayfresh. Nice little play area for kids.

We were staying in a B&B on The Dune in Wilderness and returned to Salinas for dinner. And AGAIN, a simply wonderful experience. The food was full of flavour , great portion sizes, served with 2 veggies. Morné, our waiter, did a great job. Really polite guy explaining all the specials in great detail and making personal recommendations. Even challeging... More

Found this place completely by accident and couldn't have been anywhere better! Lovely view over the beach on the balcony and amazing food to go with it. Generous portions and high quality food. Recommend the milkshakes too! Worth a visit! :)

Stopped at Salina's on on sunny May 1st Sunday without a reservation and managed to get a table even though the restaurant was packed. Manager very accommodating - he also sorted out the wind issue. Even though it was packed the service was not bad and the beers were cold and wine was excellent. We both ordered the line fish... More

We made a reservation and arrived for dinner. I wanted some fresh fish so I asked what they had and she said Hake. She came back and rudely said they were out of hake and all they had left was kingclip and would charge us an extra 60 R. So they run out of fish and we pay more for... More
