We went for breakfast for a friend's birthday and left at lunch time. Lovely manicured gardens. Love the presentation of food, It's tasty too. Highly recommended. A quaint little spot in the centre of town.

The lemonade was delicious although could have been colder. Sadly Rosehurst although quaint is somewhat neglected when it comes to maintenance, the wallpaper in the cloakroom is peeling off the wall and the patio ceiling has black mould growing on it, not very hygienic! Rather...More

Stunning venue for a small function or photos. An absolute treat with amazing selection of Victorian gifts. Treat yourself or someone you love and appreciate. Food and service was great.

I didn't see any alcoholic drinks on the menu & have no idea re BYO, but the garden is a lovely setting to enjoy a chilled glass of bubbly or the like :)

Pietermaritzburg is famous for its good boarding schools, do a google search and you will find them, mostly private schools but very good
