This is a lovely garden type café tucked away in Marriot Road. Intimate, cozy and quaint, with friendly waiters. I had the fish cake and salad which was well served, two decent size delicious fish cakes on a bed of fresh salad. I will definitely be exploring other dishes on the menu. A friend who accompanied me advised I try... More

I visited Market with a bunch of lady friends before a theatre production up the road. We loved the cosy atmosphere with all the quaint shops surrounding it and the lovely courtyard area. All the waiters were super friendly and attentive and our various lunch salad choices were all delicious- calamari; duck breast and vegetarian salads. Definitely a keeper.

After a dissapointing experience at market, I had actually emailed them with feed back on our meal. I was with a group at the time and didnt want to make a scene. I found the price of the meal expensive and was definitely not expecting something that would leave me less that satisfied. Wont be going back!!

Was recommended to this high end restaurant but will not be passing on that recommendation to anyone. We arrived without a reservation which strangely appeared to be a problem in a 30% full restaurant and were seated next to the kitchen counter, possibly the worst seats in the house. Our rude waiter, who greeted us with a "I'm here now"???,... More

I you are looking for some where different then look no further. A well located restaurant with tables placed around a lovely fountain and under shady trees with excellent service and a wide range of various foods The wine per glass is a bit expensive

Lovely food and quick service. Went there 3 times and it was great fully enjoyed their food. They hve a range of foods on the menu and good prices including drinks we enjoyed sitting outside in the sunshine. Also it's connected to other good pay n go shops. Cannot fault it and would go back to eat

Visited market restaurant with my Toddler and husband on Saturday 18 Feb 2017 and was served very badly burnt fish cakes and was told some people like them crispy - chef clearly doesn't know the difference between burnt and crispy but that's not the disgusting part, I reordered another serving of fish cakes and was disgusted to find hair in... We went there multiple times and this is always a enjoyable moment. Outside, in the shade, away from the street, feel like a bistro south of Europe. Nice staff and service. Food is tasty and fresh. A perfect place to celebrate a family event like a birthday.

I have visited Market on many occasions since it has neen established and have been served noth good and mediocre meals. Tonight however was bad. The establishment chooses to serve quantity at the expense of quality. My bad experience tonight forces me to make the effort to make a comment with the expectation that the management will review their service.... More
