We have been going to Cafe Jiran for breakfast for many years whenever we visited Durban on holiday and never had a days fault with it. However our last visit since being renovated was disappointing...poor menu choice and very small portions. Nope, no more for...More

The chocolate mouse is the best I have ever tasted. Good food and good setting. Nice relaxing atmosphere for a quiet lunch.

Located in the same building as Belair suites hotel. Perfect if you want to find a place to eat close to the hotel. Not so many restaurants close by otherwise. In evening time the area is very empty so you should be careful to walk...More

Nicely situated but food served raw. Calamari was raw and so was were the meatballs. You would think that with listeriosis etc more care would be taken with serving food. The food was hardly touched and yet there was no manager and an expensive bill.

I only ever had coffee there in the mornings but my friends did have breakfast and seem to enjoy it as they went there every day. My coffee was really good and the service was generally quite good.
