An understated bistro environment with friendly and efficient service. The menu is interesting and there are always specials. A favourite destination of a high standard.

Went here a couple of times on recent business trip - I was alone - once on Friday when they were really busy and on a Monday. On both visits, the food was as good as you can get and the service was excellent too.

Cafe 1999 was refreshing, service was quick and attentive. The food was prepared well and tasted great. We were there as a party of four for a business dinner, no issues with lively conversation all around us
