This designer cake shop is close to Randburg CBD and has safe parking off the street. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxed- making it easy to hold an uninterrupted conversation. The waitrons were hospitable and pleasant and the service was sharp. I recommend the Panama Gateaux - although there is a wide variety of delicious fresh cakes, cookies and savoury... More

Excellent quality food and well appointed bar area. Food is excellent quality and expertly prepared. The bar area is good for any drinks, including cocktails. A bit expensive, but it may still be worth it.

It's gone, Annicas was a favorite and I popped in to get a bite to eat a few weeks back and found it had closed down. It's a shame, it was a good place and had a princely atmosphere. Can't wait to see what opens here next.

I loved the set-up. It has a very English uppercrust feel to it. Very nice variety of designer cakes. The pistachio vanilla with a hint of mint cake is to die for. Waiting staff were on the ball.

We went to Annica's for a Sunday brunch a few months ago. The food was absolutely disgusting and the service, if possible, even worse. I complained to the manager who assured me I would be contacted by the senior manager or owner the next day. To date I haven't had the courtesy of a call. Honestly, give this restaurant a... More

Had a business breakfast with quite a few colleagues. Perhaps it was the number at the table (10) that resulted in the delay, but it took 45mins for breakfast to arrive. It was very tasty and the flapjacks looked stunning but for the price you pay I would expect better service. The food needs to be served a lot quicker.... More

I arrived early for a function and was looking for a breakfast spot, preferably something a little secluded. I decided to give Annica's a try, albeit that they had disappointed me before. I was hoping that they had upped their game, but came away realising they have not. Annica's is a premium restaurant and I would expect to have better... More

This little nugget hidden away at the back Michelangelo Towers Mall was once of our favourite places to go. We referred many good friends to it. It was a gem. However we have noticed that since a change of ownership/ management the restaurant has deteriorated to the point where it has become a very sad shadow of its former self.... More
