I have been at Namaskar on a number of occasions. It is a fantastic venue for a business lunch or dinner as you can ask for a separate room to sit in. This ensures privacy during your discussions. Food is fantastic. My personal favorites are the lamb tops and the prawns, but often enjoy the naan with a chicken dish.... More

A party of nine family members went to Namaskar on Tuesday evening to celebrate my sister's upcoming birthday - a meal to remember. The food was absolutely delicious and the service and personal attention we got from the owner was superb. Unfortunately I don't live in Pretoria, if we did, we would most certainly be regular visitors. Special mention must... More

We once again visited this top class Indian Restaurant where we were treated to some fantastic dishes complemented with a variety of Naan flat breads and wine. The menu is large and it is always a good idea to take advice from the owners before deciding what to have. The service as usual was friendly and prompt.

We visited Namaskar for a graduation celebration and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and efficient service. The curry was aromatic, plentiful and the menu is varied enough to accommodate a range of guests. A range of starters are offered - the cheese and corn fritters were a favourite. We'll definitely be back!

Decided to treat a Free State couple to quench their Indian food craving. Benn often to this restaurant. I would say sure it does not have the ambience or decor of its competitor Geet. But the cuisine makes up for the trip to Colbyn. A decent wine list. The veg mixed starter is a must even for meat lovers. I... More

My third visit over the past year so by now I've seen and tasted a good range of the fare on offer. Wide range offered on the menu but generally not much variation in flavour/taste. I suspect most dishes come straight from the freezer as there is little evidence of authentic freshness. The owner was very dismissive when I inquired... More

Indian restaurants in the Pretoria area tend to go easy on the chillies and at Namaskar you can choose the number of chillies in your dish. This is different from the restaurants in Laudium outside Pretoria where I love to go for authentic Indian food (at Thali, The Bay Leaf or Al Amin), but you don't really have control over... More
