I loved the experience, the passion of chef Chantel when explaining her dishes, the non-alcoholic drink pairing (which was a very innovative option to suit drivers), the custom made plates and some of the most amazing flavours I have had the pleasure of experiencing. We were almost 4 hours enjoying the extended tasting menu so were glad to have an... More

This beautiful restaurant is probably the only reason I visit the west of Pretoria. This gorgeous family run hotel and restaurant is so beautiful and is the only restaurant in Pretoria to have made it consecutively to the eat out guide top 20 restaurants in South Africa.

I visited Mosaic with my wife and children for dinner. The evening reminded me of my assessment of New York City: everything they say about this place is true. We all partook of the Grande Dégustation menu and had as many views as persons around the table. For me the cuisine is of such a standard that I feel inadequate... More

On my last visit I stated that perfection cannot be surpassed. The difficulty is then to maintain these standards and Mosaic have managed to achieve this with flying colours. The staff, the food, the wine and the lovely rooms of The Orient Hotel are just all magnificent.

Mosaic restaurant at the Orient what an decadent indulgence. The whole experience was awesome. The food is sublime. Everything on the plate is edible even the flowers which add to the taste of the dish. Service and atmosphere excellent. Beautiful areas, small personal touches making up breathtaking scenes. Mari is warm, friendly and very welcoming as are all the staff.... More

What a stunning, once (or twice if you're really, really lucky) in a lifetime experience. Expensive (oh so very expensive) but definitely worth it - the food was exquisite and the sommelier added a brilliant dash of class, culture and information to our wine-paired 10 course degustation. The clear highlight of the evening though was the incredible (in concept and... More
