Arriving late on a Sunday afternoon at a restaurant is not always guaranteed to get you the best service or food. The Foundry proved us wrong today. We were shown to our table by our cheerful waitress, Precious, who picked up on our cues and joked along. As we are not beer drinkers, we had to skip the fantastic range... More

This restaurant is good for small business function, casual dining, and for beer lovers. I took my family to visit, had some excellent platters, but found it not so suitable for family with young kids.

Lovely vibey spot to stop off on your way home from work. The bar area is beautifully decorated and cerates a wonderful atmosphere for drinks. The cocktails are a must when visiting the Foundry - in particular the Ginger Rogers which is a piece of art when it arrives at your table.

They have a huge variety of beers on tap and bottled beers but decided to try the cocktail "A Cup Of Tea, Please". Found it to be an interesting variation of gin tonic with the strawberry and cream tea reduction. My gf had the mocktail with grenadine and it was simple and nice. Ordered the crispy squid heads, which was... More

Have visited Foundry several times. Love the vibe, food and atmosphere. Excellent for Sunday lunches. Have great selection of craft beers to sample. Only disappointment is the removal of bunny chow from menu. Really suggest the selection of tapas - especially fish tacos

Had a Saturday lunch here and ordered the "crispy" maple bacon and gorgonzola pizza. Sounds amazing, but what reached the table was pretty average. Fatty bacon, not crispy and way too heavy on the blue cheese. Unattentive service. A good spot for a drink, but food-wise there's a serious need to up the game (hint: perhaps look at updating the... Friday afternoon buzz was good Jozi style, with people anticipating the weekend. A smallish and interesting menu with mainly pizza choices, but settled for a ravioli dish which turned out to be surprisingly good - clearly made in the kitchen and not warmed up from a freezer, well presented, generously topped with sliced parmesan and delicious. The pork belly was... More

If you're looking for a relaxed atmosphere with consistently fantastic food this is it. The waiters are great and the chef makes you feel at home. I enjoy their Sunday roast. Ideal for romantic dinner, group celebrations (business / pleasure). They have some of my favorite beer and wine selection.

Loved this restaurant. Went here on a few occasions with my family and the food and service was great. Just hard to decide what to have as everything on menu was so good.

Went there with our young boys for Saturday lunchtime, not expecting too much. Was pleasantly surprised with good service and an interesting menu. It looks like a bar from the outside but someone took care of the inside to deliver good food, a great vibe and attentive service. Worth checking it out.
