After a good lunch we have mixed feelings about this venue. On the plus side the setting was great, eclectic decor and the an interesting tapas menu. The warm fire on a cold May day was most welcoming and we sat close to it as the restaurant was nearly empty for lunch, However it had filled up nicely by the... More

Dear Yebo Many thanks for your review and constructive comments. I would like to make a few points with regard to some of your observations though. Our (double gold award winning) wines although a bit more than the Cellar price is much lower than similar wines in other restaurants. We do mark it up more than cellar door prices due to... More

After a strenuous game of golf at Plettenberg Country Club, lunch at Bramon was a perfect reprieve. The glorious autumn day lent itself perfectly for sitting outside among the vines. We chose various tapas from the selection which was difficult to do as they all sounded so tasty! Service was excellent ! Being non wine drinkers we didn't take advantage... More

We had no idea what to expect and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. We were lucky to be accommodated without a booking (strongly recommended) and they made us feel welcome regardless. We enjoyed the efficient way they use of ordering drinks/dishes, the quick/friendly service and above all the tasty dishes. The combinations used in salads/dishes work so well together –... More

Each time we are in the vicinity, we make a point of visiting Bramon's lovely restaurant. What makes this a special experience, is the fact that the tapas menu is designed for sharing. Despite pouring rain, staff were friendly and the venue was lovely and warm (I would still recommend the tables amongst the vines for a nice day though).... More

We spent a few days down the garden route to celebrate my father-in-law's 80th birthday and booked lunch in the vineyards of Bramon Estate. The food, wine, ambience and service was simply wonderful. The tapes menu has a wide variety and there was simply enough for the 5 of us to choose from and the sparkling wine complimented everything. So... More

We stopped by Bramon on a rainy Saturday afternoon. They had the fireplace going in the restaurant which instantly made it feel super cozy. Tapas style menu was elegant, yet very varied. From warm prepared foods to cheeses and cold meats. Wine list is short, but that is to be expected from a small winery. Tried the 2014 Sauvignon Blanc... More

The location in the orchard is perfect for a laid back lunch. Tapas are the order of the day and are high quality as well as incredibly tasty. The freshly baked bread made specifically for each table is scrumptious and served piping hot.
