The restaurant is situated in a wine estate surrounding area. Tables are placed in between the wine ranks. It serves a menu consisting of different small tapas to choose from. We recommend especially the chicken liver pate and the local white wine.

Lovely setting, although need to book if you want a table amongst the vines. We were disappointed with the food though - it's a tapas only menu and our order was messed up with no apology and then we were charged for other items we didn't have. There were also lots of flies in the window next to where we... More

We came across this wine estate along the garden route. The seating is very enjoyable and so are the tapas. Very friendly service and a very good place for a short stop. Even worth a detour.

Hi, Visited Bramon again this year and what used to be a reasonable place to visit has now become expensive and they are obviously catering to foreigners. The brie and camembert cheese costs 80 rand and are very tiny, smaller than what you buy in the super markets. You can get a burger for that price!! You used to get... More

Dear Keith Many thanks for your review. I do need to correct you re the brie and camembert cheeses. It is pretty much the same size as a supermarket cheese but much higher quality (which you pay R50 for) and it is baked and served with expensive figs, nuts and verjuice - so actually cheap. The bread is hand made... More

A late Sunday lunch in the vines. This place gets better each year. Excellent staff, always wanting to please, and well cooked and served food. The Tapas style menu is varied and provides a good choice. This visit our favourite Bobotie spring rolls were not on the menu, however our waitress persuaded the chef to make us some .... good... While meandering in the garden route we can across Bramon. What a great stop and a worthwhile visit. The Tapas and breads are fantastic. Don't miss out

Thoroughly recommended, great concept and food top quality. Although possible to over eat the portions are nicely balanced and well presented. Possible to sit outside between the vines but overcast today however nice inside. Like most things in SA value fir money is amazing.

We had a delightful lunch at this restaurant and really enjoyed the salads, cheeses and Black Forest ham. The wines were good but the one issue that made our experience less than excellent was the fact that the Bramon wine prices, on top of a hefty increase from 6 months ago, are slapped with a further premium if guests drink... Morning Michelle Many thanks for your review and I am pleased you enjoyed Bramon. Just to clarify the pricing of our wines. We have had huge increases in our excise duty (sin tax) MCC is now over R10/L. Besides this due to the week rand all our dry goods (corks, capsules, wire hoods, foils etc.) which are imported have increased... More

Have heard so many good reviews about Bramon, that we eventually managed to get a table at 11am. Loved it so much, got friends together and went back 2 days later. If the weather permits, do ask for a table outside, there are not many tables outside, but they lead into the vineyard. The wine is very good, we were... More
