I actually chose to eat at Joe & Aggie's because it had fair reviews. Well, I don't know what they ate because nothing we had was worth eating. We should have turned around and walked out after entering due to the "old" smell. The place...More

I remember stopping at this classic Route 66 cafe for breakfast after a night in the (happily still charming) WIgwam Motel almost twenty years ago. While the food was nothing special then, it was a lot of fun. I brought my husband and kids to...More

This place looks like a place perfect for motorbikers. However, not so perfect for dinning. The food was not impressive. The indian tacos are clearly not my new favorite food because how dry they are. I still think their fried tortilla with cheese was very...More

We had read glowing reviews of the food online. The sopapillas with honey totally lives up the that hype. None of the rest of the food did; it was boring and bland. The wait staff was so friendly, attentive and kind!

Stopped here mid morning for a coffee ( hopefully pecan pie ) Unfortunately no pies, but as this is an old american Mexican cafe, Aggie was more than helpful, & rustled up some fruit filled cheerios with ice cream, got to say these really hit...More

6/16/17 This experience was abysmal on many levels. The food was substandard, the dinners (5) were simply microwaved in plastic containers. Mine burned through the bottom. 3 containers melted. The food smelled of plastic, and would have been disappointing fare to begin with. The owner...More

I stopped in here for lunch due to it's long history on Route 66, but my experience was a bit disappointing. Service was slow (part of which was due to a new waitress being trained) and the staff not very engaging. Food was so-so -...More

Food was average, nothing that stands out. However the owner was so engaging with the history of the area and her cafe, it was very refreshing to be a part of her passion. It is a special place and we were happy to have been...More
