When the food came it wasn't that appealling. They had fried the taco shells so a bit glistening. After the first bite we still weren't sure. It just wasn't what we were used to or expecting. But putting that aside each bite got better. It's not your typical taco so if you aren't from the area, be open minded. It's... More

Nothing fancy, just good prices and a family sized meal. We split two combos for a family of five and had plenty. Food was a little low on flavor but it was authentic as advertised. My favorite was definitely the regular burro.

We were tired from traveling all day and didn't want to drive far from hotel. Irene's was close. The service was good but meal left something to be desired. Filled a void though. Don't believe I would return.

Irene's has great food but the best hot wings I've ever had! High prices so if you eat here expect to spend over $50 which is high for Mexican food. But I love their wings and the ranch although they charge you for extra ranch.

This place makes Mexican food like your Grandmother from Mexico, who is a superb cook. The red menudo was out of the world. They really know how to cook here, service is extremely friendly, and prices rock bottom. This place just rocks! ZB

We really expected great authentic Mexican food since we were in a small town near Phoenix. Globe was a great little town but the food at Irene's was not.

The food is great here! We waited longer than we should have for our food, I think our server forgot to put in. But when we finally got our food, it was worth every second we waited. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great Mexican experience.

Tasty meal with generous servings of home style Mexican entrée options. Wait staff is efficient and friendly. This is a favorite place for reasonably priced and great tasting meals.

We entered Irenes to find one last table available. they were packing the people in tonight. The servers were friendly smiled the whole time. most of the customers were understanding as the chefs were pushed to the limit with pending orders. a few customers werent as patient as others. but you figure its Sunday Night in Globe , most places...
