Cheese crisp was great. Everything else was pretty average. Ask for separate plates unless you want a taco soggy from sitting in enchilada sauce. The carts the waitresses use are loud and give off a cafeteria feel. We weren't unhappy, but would try one of the other Mexican restaurants if we returned to the area.

We were on our way to Roosevelt Lake and wanted to find a lunch spot where the locals were eating and this was the place. Excellent chips and salsa as we waited for our food. We had the special of the day, a bean burro and it was to die for!! I would make a special trip to Globe to... More

An old restaurant in downtown Globe with really good Mexican food. Service is good as well, they serve beer and wine but not margaritas. We will go back the next time in Globe

We were on our way home from a rafting trip north of Globe and wanted authentic Mexican food for lunch. This was the place - walked in on a Sunday afternoon and the place was packed. Ordered the #1 and it was delicious - tamale, tostada and taco with beans and rice for $5.50. Our server was very friendly and... More

A restaurant filled with families enjoying an evening meal tends to be a good sign, especially when there are so many restaurants to choose from. The clientele appeared to be mostly local and, that too, is a promising sign. The food was excellent, especially the machaca, and the portions were probably larger than was good for us, but we “soldiered... More

Cold corona in a frosted mug, delicious green chili cheese crisp and flavorful green corn tamale!, What a great way to end a day of sightseeing.

Mexican food at its worsed. This restraint was very dirty and old looking. They haven't spent any money to keep this place up.

This place was pretty crowded on a recent Sunday afternoon, but that is likely because nothing else is the run down town is open. The chips are clearly from a bag and the salsa is served in a bottle. It had a bit of heat, but not much. Now onto those beef enchiladas - at first we thought there is... More

We met a local resident in our travels Saturday and asked about a lunch place. Mexican? Yes. La Casita was the answer without reservation. Food was good. Green Chilling was excellent. Tacos were good. Very local.

The original La Casita in downtown Globe is one of the best in Globe. For decades, the family is taken pride in offering the finest Mexican food at good prices. If you're looking for a tradtional meal, this is a must stop. From their burros, green chile, cheese crisps, and cold beers, you wont be disappointed! Make sure you ask... More
