Zorbas was the Greek restaurant I have been yearning for. The owner was such a happy, wonderfully obliging, full of life person. We arrived at 8:30 pm after a long day of work (they close at 9 pm) and he couldn't be happier to serve us. I ordered the Moussaka with Meat and my fiance ordered the Lemon Chicken (Kota Lemonati). Each came with the most perfect and delicious rice, potatoes and steamed vegetables. Everything was cooked to perfection. The chicken was moist with an incredibly tasting gravy and my Moussaka was as good or better than any I have tasted before. I kissed my fiance when I arrived a little after her and he gave us a really sweet complement. I have to drive 20 minutes to go here but I see us eating here at least once a month. Excited to try other items on the menu. Thank you Sir!

The food is absolutely deeeeelicious, and prapared as if your were a king or queen. It's cozy, clean and the owner greets us as if he knows us. He does recognize us. They have a very friendly staff. Leave room for desert. Yum!

For a sit down restaurant, it's a little casual but the owner will talk to you and get to know you. You can tell that he takes pride in every detail of getting it right and puts his heart and soul into everything.
The food is delicious, from the gyros to the souvlaki to the shwarma and the saffron rice is lightly seasoned and perfect. The vegetables are very authentic (we used to know a Greek guy that made them almost identically). Real olive oil (no canola blends) abounds in this place.
Unlike many Greek restaurants, he doesn't overkill the flavors with extremes. Olives, pickled items, lamb, even the blue cheese was nice and I really don't like blue cheese.
We always take home leftovers so that we can eat it again the next day, because it's so good.

Have had the best gyros and other Greek foods here. The Greek coffee is excellent. Service is good and did not have to wait long for our food.

Unfortunately, they appear to have closed. We went during their posted operating hours on 23May20 and they were closed. A little frustrated they didn't have any kind of notice on their door or website.

This is one of our must stop places in Chandler. We drive up from Tucson just to have lunch and visit a local candy store. The food here is very authentic the owner id green and often travels to Greece to visit. the food is always excellent. Today my wife and I had an order of Roasted Garlic Hummus, Dolmas, and a Gyro Salad. The Hummus is some of the best I have had. always fresh and very tasty. The Dolmas are filled with a mixture of rice and meat. Most Tasty! the Gyro Salad is loaded with meat and veggies. we have had many other of their many selections from their menu. This is a go to place in Chandler so if you are in the area stop in. Tell Chef H hi! for us.

So we just got done eating such delicious food we want to go back tomorrow. I had the Gyro Salad and it was the right amount of every ingredient. I would love to know the recipe for the dill yogurt dressing. It was amazing. My husband had the lamb shank and he enjoyed it so much. My friend had the Eggplant dish and loved it as well.
The folks that took care of us were delightful and like family!

Having visited Greece fall, 2018, we’re always on the look out for Greek restaurants in our area. We tried Zorba’s today for lunch. From the Mythos beer, to the moussaka, it was incredibly delicious! We will definitely visit again! Highly recommended!

Non-pretentious family run place. Attentive and friendly service. Food was tasty. All 6 of us had different dishes and all were excellent. We’ll be back.

I had the Caesar Salad with chicken and sprinkles of feta and it was the best salad ever! Our server was excellent and took great care of us. Her sense of humor was great!

Gave impression it was family owned. A young waiter (son?) couldn't answer all our questions so an older gentleman (father?) helped. Very helpful and offered an additional meal if his suggestions where inaccurate. We had the lamb and also moussaka. Both very good. Small restaurant with no frills.

We always try to find a good Greek restaurant that serves Saganaki when we travel to cities. This one came up in our search and was well reviewed here on Trip Advisor. It was advertised as being less formal but that attracted us even a bit more.
We were not disappointed. We went with another couple and all had different items. Our friends had the Gyro plate and the Cajun linguini with shrimp. I had the Lamb Shank which was good but the saffron rice that came with it was probably the thing I liked the most. My wife had the Mousakka which was presented uniquely compared to what she has had before. It was almost like a pastry with a cheese crust. I have posted a picture of it on Trip Advisor.
Hisham has been the owner for 35 years. He was the first to wait on us followed by his son. Hisham is quite a character.
Dinner for 4 with drinks and an appetizer cost about $100 plus tip, and we found that to be quite reasonable.
Location is convenient in the Chandler/Gilbert area of southwest Phoenix.
