I have visited this establishment many times. The food is always good and the wait is never too long. This is an old fashioned restaurant with old fashioned food! There is a bar attached for drinks and there is seating in the bar for dining as well. Beats Red Robin anyday! They also have a banquet room for private parties.

We ordered a Prime Rib Melt and French fries. Where's the beef? Minimal shredded prime rib on toast. It was more like a grill cheese sandwich with flecks of beef and the fries were cold. Workers were busy visiting amongst themselves, so our food came cold, then we had to wait for silverware and ketchup.

Good food, good service. Full, large plates. Seats and booths need updated, but that would probably raise the prices to pay for that! :-) A local favorite for many years. Fish pictures and taxidermy fill the walls. Themed background music is good, days for the 50s, 60s, 70s, etc. Not the radio of today.

Trout house gives a lot of food and it is good. They have a lot of TVs in the lower portion of the restaurant. So it's fun to watch the game while you eat. The food is always excellent! It's one of my favorite places to eat. Kind a has a truckstop feel.

We had a wonderful lunch in a warm inviting dining room. Great soup and monstrous BLT! Burgers and home cut fries were worth the calories.

This place is 1 star at best. The reindeer skillet was fried potato nuggets, with 8 tiny slices of reindeer covered in cheese. This is not a skillet. Village Inn and Dennys makes better breakfast skillets than that. I ordered 80% of available appetizers. All was tasteless and fried and slimy. Ranch dressing came almost 10 minutes after the appetizers.... More

This was s great place for food at a good price. Unfortunately it has turned into only an adequate place with prices on the high side for what you get. Also the service was less than what it should be too.
