We (a couple) ordered shrimp pastel and grilled fish. The pastels were absolutely below average but edible. The grilled fish, consisting of 2 filets was subzero standard. One filet was good, the other tasted like the found it in the dishwasher 2 weeks ago. Upon complaint it was taken away and a replacement followed. That one was just grilled at... More

The food isn't bad, but the prices are high. You can pay less and eat better else where. The service is very friendly but unorganized, the staff isnt trained at all, granted they do their best to please you. I hate when I order appetizera and the main meal and the app takes forever to arrive then 2 min later... More

Very good experience at Boulevard Canal. Excellent and tasty Brazilian food for a reasonable price and big portions. The outside tables are located under a sun shade with a nice view of Cabo Frio's Canal.

The cashier said that she had listed everything as a table instead of separate checks. This is a common problem in Brazil because separate bills in Brazil are almost always confusion to the restaurants and with new fiscal laws in Brazil they cannot seem to create a separate bill when they list all of the diners as one table and... Tia Maluca Restaurant is located by the Itajuru Channel, at downtown Cabo Frio. Most tables are on the sidewalk under a canvas shelter. Pretty simple outfit, waiters are nice (don't expect multilingual ones, though; mostly portuguese and some spanish spoken, and that's it), food is very good. Seafood is the choice to make, as most of the ingredients (fish, octopus,... More

8 of us had dinner there as we had a meeting in Cabo Frio. Some dishes were edible, others were not. Two were sent back, the rest were so-so at best. Caipirinhas we only just passable.

the bay-side of cabo frio had an abundant amount of restaurants. the restaurants are all right next to each other, but some how tia maluca (crazy aunt in english) seemed to pull away and capture the crowd. it could be great marketing, but the food holds up. i have had the filet mignon there and the baby lobster tails and...
