Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. We had caramel pork-not very nice (the name should have given it away!), and honey chicken-very good! Would go there again, and recommend it, just not the pork.

Lucky for us, the Red Dao House Restaurant was close to our hotel so we found it accidently walking back one night. We ate dinner there twice because it was to good and the atmosphere is wonderful. We even went back for lunch one day. One night it was fun having the "Hot Pot" which is like a fondue, where... More

We ve come to the resturant expecting something different. good name and mithical red dao food lucky we ordered some starters that were far better then the main course which was a joint kind of soup to which we added the vegies. The soup was tasteless and so were the vegetables , a pity because the concept was interesting

We stopped here on recommendation from our hotel, coupled with TA reviews we read and were underwhelmed. The restaurant had a bit of a musty smell inside. The service, which we have found typical in Sapa,m comparatively to the south where we have come from, was ok, not great as was the food. We ordered fresh juice, we were not... More

Recommended by our hotel and we were not disappointed! We had red dao soup and fresh veg spring rolls to start & venison lemongrass chilli and duck with ginger for mains. All dishes were tasty, the veg fried rice was lovely too! Would recommend.

Simply put - best meal we had in Sapa, a cut above all of the other restaurants we tried. I had the salmon hotpot (they offer a 1 person portion unlike the majority of other places in town). Do yourself a favour and just go to this restaurant: a bit annoying we only discovered it on the last night. Staff... More

Are you looking for your private Sapa? It’s all in Red Dao House Restaurant.Located in the heart of the town of Sapa. The Red Dao House restaurant is a fascinating traditional wooden house on stilts of the Red Dao hill briber in the North West mountain of Vietnam. It is much more than a restaurant; it’s a wonderful dining experience.
