Came to this restaurant daily on our holidays in Kovalam. True delicious vegetarian Indian cuisine! Loved everything I tried and prices are democratic! Definitely recommend to anyone who loves Indian food!

They cook very good and fresh vegetarian food. large choice of dishes. Singh and his wife are both excellent cooks and very friendly and helpful!

After staying in kerela for 6 days, the aloo gobi, paneer, Garlic naans and lachaa paratha was to die for. Such great taste - proper mix of spice and masalas. In addition, the hospitality was absolutely very welcoming. I would highly recommend going here and...I would definitely visit again if I come back to Kovalam.More

Perhaps it is the fact that Hindustani is off the Kovalam Light House Beach seafront track, perhaps it is the richer and creamier North Indian sauces, but this restaurant is different and well worth out seeking out, 50 yards down a narrow shopping alley at...the Lighthouse end of the beach. It is in a simple open, canopied space, the facilities are basic (the loo is western, but hasn’t a flush, and it is accessed through the family bedroom), but the welcome is really warm, everything is freshly prepared, and the colours, textures and flavours offer freshness, contrast and taste, perhaps closer to British Punjabi or Bangla curries (including naan bread) than the norm in Kerala. It is vegetarian, and alcohol is not available, but five of us ate royally, and couldn’t finish. The meal cost under 2000 Rupees - well under £30 - for all of us. Thoroughly recommended. The owners and their children are so welcoming, speak English, and deserve to succeed in a tough tourist market.More

We visited this place twice during our visit to Kovalam and each time we were scraping our bowls clean. The food here is incredible and fills you with a certain warmth that I get when I have home cooked food. The service is great. I...definitely hope to return again in the near future!!!More

I had been to this place on 31st Oct and 1st Nov. This is a pure veg joint run by a Punjabi couple and the food was excellent. They don't pre cook the food but it is prepared as per order and it is really..."authentic Punjabi food" cooked home style. The taste was excellent and reflects the effort put in cooking the food. The ambience is dhaba style but hygiene is maintained. This place is highly recommended for home style, tasty "Veg" Punjabi food. I would definitely visit again.More
