We brought our halibut catch in from our fishing trip that day and the staff at Captain Patties did a wonderful job preparing it for us. The rest of the meal was fantastic--I highly recommend the salmon dip. They have a great location on the spit and wonderful views through huge windows.

We walked in with a plastic bag of halibut we caught on bob's trophy fishing charters. They cooked it 3 different ways. It was delish! Plus the views out the window were crazy good. Snow capped mountains with bald eagles on the beach. Alaska postcard.

I had the char grill sampler. The Halibut, Salmon, Scollaps, and Shrimp were all excellent. The waitress was friendly and helpful. The dinning room has a great atmosphere.

They had all-you-can-eat grilled or fried shrimp for their special the day we were in Homer. Really enjoyed it except the serving of the shrimp was a bit slow. Service was excellent, location beautiful, and food great. Oysters were $16 or $18 per half dozen. They were big and tasty. I missed the $5.99 per dozen in Jacksonville, FL (The... More

People were very friendly. The view was amazing. The food was good but a little pricey, Not your average burger joint.

My wife and I had a very good meal of giant oysters on the half shell and All-You-Can-Eat Grilled Prawns. The food was delicious and the service was very good as well.

We stopped here because it was the ONLY place open on the spit until "tourist season" but we were surprised by the price... patties fish house just doesn't sound like a place that charges $30-90 per plate. We stopped in for a snack and ended up spending $60.00 on 3 coffee cup sized "bowls" of clam chowder and two orders... More

We were here in April when nearly all the restaurants were still closed, but this was a great find. Friendly staff. Two of us shared the Grilled fish plate and a large Caesar salad. Plenty. The fish was excellent, good grill flavor, hot temperature but not overcooked. Lovely room, quiet this time of year.

Beautiful views out the window. We were present for the sunset which was amazing. I would say the food is average. I had clam chowder which had big chunks of clams. Grilled shrimp and baked potato. Kind of expensive for the amount of food you get. My friend got the steak. it was a huge piece of steak. That was... More
