We had lunch at Duncan House, and it was fantastic. The place is a quaint diner and the service was just right. Two blocks from where we were staying, and the walk was just right. When in Homer, Duncan House is a must!

We eat there, frequently, when in Homer. Never been in for anything other than breakfast. Always good. Will have to try another meal at some point. You will wait during tourist season or Sunday mornings.

My husband and I had breakfast at Duncan’s twice! Combination breakfasts and omelets are a value with breakfast potatoes and toast included. I tried corned beef hash on my first visit and a spanish omelet the second. Coffee is endless and service attentive.

We ate here at a fellow travelers recommendation. It was so so. It was slow getting seated for no reason that we could see. Our waitress was great. I ordered a piece of halibut just to try it and it was pretty good. I didn’t...More

Thank you for your feedback and review. Please know that the mashed potatoes that were being used in August of '18 have been discontinued. Thanks again.

Good food at a reasonable price. Good service, fast and accurate. Only complaint was the heat in the place, stifling.

Sign says please wait to be seated. While waiting people entered and seated themselves. No one acknowledges our family waiting. Serve coffee to self seaters still no one seats us. Not real impressed left and went elsewhere with our businessMore

I did not have breakfast here and it appears that is the area that The Duncan House does best. I was here from New England and we have the best fish and chips but not halibut fish and chips. We stopped for lunch and I...More

Thank you for your review and feedback. I'm sorry we did not meet your expectations. Please keep in mind that the Duncan House is a diner. We do not season our food too much as some other restaurants as we have a large clientele that...More

Have eaten at Duncan House on both trips to Alaska. It’s not your grandmother’s oatmeal and it’s fabulous. It’s also a great local place to people watch.
