Great food. Great service. Dining room a little small so if next table has loud guests, it can be a bit much. Great bar, however, for a Homer restaurant and you can easily enjoy dinner there. The seafood is great and well prepared. Fresh oysters are on the small side so order a dozen. Calamari is great as an appetizer.

We came here for dinner on our first night in Homer. We started with the shrimps which were excellent and then I had the King Crab Risotto which was simply fantastic. My kids had the kids meals (Fish and Chips, Fettuccine) which were great quality and economical. I recommend making a reservation - ask for a table near the window.

Had the yellow eye rockfish special, and it was delicious. We also tried the halibut- also great. Small rooms (2) for seating, but worth the wait if seating not immediately available. Our best meal in Homer.

After visiting beautiful Seldovia and paying homage to Salty Dog Saloon, we were very pleased to have dinner at Fresh Catch. We were steered there by the bartender, Erica, at Salty Dog. The sedate and classy ambience was a nice antidote to the bustle of the Homer Spit. My wife had King Crab and I had lingcod, topped with crabmeat.... More

Great fries with the halibut Fish and chips dish, halibut itself was so so. I had the special ling cod that evening and it wasn't cooked through. I did find someone to ask if it should be like it was, and definitely got the impression it should be 'soft' but it was definitely undercooked.

In a town where there's an abundance of fish and chips (& rightly so!) it's refreshing to find alternatives to the deep fried fare that still celebrates local produce and the food that Alaska is best known for ... Fish! This intimate restaurant has attentive service, a glorious menu & the most stunning view across the ocean. The best meal... More

I'm no fish expert, but I at least know when I like what I eat. Fish & chips were good, huge portions, tartar sauce is house-made and delicious! Salad was both pretty and good. Nice staff too. Leftovers means the price is right.

Love their chowder- they do slice their halibut very thin, so you do not get as much. Otherwise, it is a great place.

This is one of the best "Fresh Fish" Restaurants I've ever been to. With many Fishing Boats arriving to offload their daily catch, this "Fresh Catch Café" is close walking distance from the Fish Docks. GREAT fresh fish! I recommend this highly.
