This is not a restaurant I'd take my small children to. It is just more like an adult, fancy place to me. If you're like me, you may need to save your money to go! The food is very good, but the portion size is small. (Not that there's anything wrong with that!). You probably won't have leftovers. We had... More

One of the best steaks I've had in my life. Service was super friendly and on a high level. Would recommend to anyone visiting Alaska. It's an example of fine dining.

Our first night in Alaska was spent at the Seven Glaciers bar overlooking the beautiful view. We had wonderful specialty designed drinks from the bartender and crab legs.

We stayed at the Hotel and chose this restaurant for the final group dinner we had in Alaska. The service is quite good and the food was well appreciated. They have a magnificent cellar which you may ask to visit inside. Great wines they have there, but unfortunately not for my pocket. The view from the restaurant is absolutely wonderful.... More

Wow! Last minute dinner with a business associate. Knew nothing about the restaurant but it had great reviews so I booked a table for 2- So glad I did. First of all is the location (which I did not know ahead of time); it's at the top of the tram from the Alyeska resort... about 2000' up. The views are... More

My wife and I enjoyed a magnificent dinner last night at Seven Glaciers Restaurant at Alyeska Resort. We selected the five course meal with wine pairing and each course was superbly prepared with just the right wine to compliment each course. The Tram ride up the mountain to get to the restaurant is a nice touch as well.

We came to Seven Glaciers for Valentines Day dinner and were not disappointed. Great service by both the waiter and bartender before the meal. Food was delicious and plentiful. Great wine recommendation as well! Definitely have a meal here while staying at the hotel!

Arriving at Seven Glaciers on the Tram is a special experience in and of itself. The view is phenomenal. And, in a rarity for dining experiences, the food and service are better than the view. It's worth the trip from Anchorage. Make a reservation as the restaurant sometimes closes mid-week.

Granted we are picky, but when you go to a fine dining establishment you expect a high level of service. Our service was mediocre, not horrible, but lacking. It started off by not being offered the chef's choice menu which we learned about from another patron at the bar. We switched to this delightful choice after we had already ordered... More

The food was delicious and the cocktails inventive. My only hang up is it seems like lunch is kids hour at McDonalds
