While it was an average of 40 degrees for the majority of our trip, we made a point of stopping for ice cream after a local recommended this place. The fireberry ice cream was delicious - try it for yourself & see!

ice cream is BEYOND fantastic. Local berry and ginger flavors may be best I ever tasted anywhere. GO!!
Yummy...great stop after driving in from Exit Glacier hike. We tried several "Alaskan" flavor a including a fireweed version. The two above were our favorites. Don't miss it!
A must go to because you can get and try fire-weed ice cream, and lots of different kinds of berry ice cream too. Nothing like this ice cream anywhere in the lower 48.
