We stayed at Paradise Cove and they gave the name of this resort since they were closed that night for dinner. We arrived before dinner and had a beer (it would have been nice if they would have had chips or something), but we waited for dinner. The food was prepared well and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. We would... More

We had no booking on a booked out night but we were able to be given a spot by Nick Henry GM on a very busy night at his table which was much appreciated. The meals were very nice and the atmosphere was exceptional, Nick entertained us with his singing island show. Staff were good.

I visited the restaurant with my family on a Friday evening as a walk in. The restaurant is a stylish open area with a thatched roof. The menu is basic with some options for children. We opted for the yellow fin tuna and a rack of lamb. The lamb was tender and juicy, the tune was well done though we... More

Tamanu Beach Resort was perfect for us, its casual 4 star luxury with great bungalows on a pristine beach with fabulous service. We stayed 5 nights and will be coming back again to stay here when we return one day to the most beautiful Island in the world, Aitutaki. Tim and Kristen Jordan

Wow, the rooms are huge with a separate living room. The deck and those stunning views are breathtaking. The food served in the restaurant was tasty and reasonably priced for the remoteness of the island. I would definitely go back as it great value.

We were torn between the Pacific Resort and the Tamanu Beach resort, but went with Tamanu Beach as it was bundled with the vacation package we chose. On Rarotonga one of the locals cringed when I told him we planned to stay there. He said it was owned by the Henry family which was active in local politics, but there... More

The restaurant is not very big and has a familiar taste. Staff is very friendly and efficient. Me and my wife have been there on the "Island night", which is a special evening on Thursdays only. The owner hosts a "talk/speech" that entertains guests until the dinner buffet is ready. The quality of the food is high and the dishes... More

Aitutaki is like going to heaven, with its beautiful teal blue lagoon and wonderful laid back lifestyle. Our stay at Tamanu was just so special with the suites all laid out so every one has a sea view. The suites are well appointed with cooking facilities, and are comfortable and clean. We stayed on the 100 numbered side with a... More

Description
Tamanu beach has a beachside 60 seat Bar & Restaurant. We are open for breakfast lunch and dinner with a simple Island style menu. Our feature Island Nights every Thursday are a highlight of Aitutaki dining. Sunday is a relaxed family bbq buffet. The specials menu changes regularly with the freshest catch and seasonal fruits. We do pretty good coffee (getting better every day!) and our sunset cocktails are very tempting.
