We have been going to Tiquicia for many years and it is always like the first time when you get up there and see the city lights. The food is always very good and the staff very pleasant.

Tiquicia has an excellent view and its perfect to take visitors. Food is average, its an OK example of some Costa Rican foods.

Visited on a Sunday. A challenging drive from the city but the superb views from the restaurant made the trip very worthwhile. We ate from the buffet - the food was very good. Lovely restaurant.

Restaurant with an excellent view of what they call locally the "Great Metropolitan Area", with local shows and dances before 8 pm, so get there early and a great variety of typical food.

Drive here was terrible. Took a cab which was $20 from city center at rush hour. Up steep hills, in mud, ruts. Come down the mountain was terrifying. BUT, view was amazing. Food was typical CR food and tasty. Our waiter didn't speak English very well but I think the others did. We went on a Tuesday early and it... More

loved the view and the plantains with black beans the most. I was surprised by the little dogs that came around while we ate. They were very cute and quite polite! I enjoyed them.

The place is perfect to bring tourist because the decoration is costarrican typical, a lot of all stuff, great view of the city lights at night. Local souvenir shop at the entrance. About price and food, not sure... and the waitress are TOO MUCH friendly, kind of annoying... They have a dog inside the restaurant, is funny like 2 minutes... More

I do not know how Costa Ricans get to their destination. There are no street names or street numbers. Most locals use an app call Iways. I guess made by a local because I do not know how a sattelite can find places. It is a long way uphill and quiet a few curves to get up there. It has... More

We had a group of 16 and sat in a long table overlooking the city - stunning views! Yes, it was a beautiful day so we were lucky. We lingered for about 3 hours. There is a small playground and the kids from age 7-14 had fun running around the property while we visited. Food was fine, typical Costa Rican.... More

A taxi driver suggested this to us and we were delighted. Good local food and great views, but take a jacket - it is cold up there!
