If you're looking for a bit of romance or luxury, this place is great. They serve great food and cocktails in a beautiful setting but it comes at a bit of a price. Great gluten-free and vegan options.

Super friendly staff. Good food and locale! In the heart of this bohemian little town. AC are a nice touch and worth it.

We had dinner our first night here because we'd heard it was good. I had quesadillas & they were amazing. They happened to have 2 for 1 pinacoladas which were extremely thick - don't have them if you're not hungry cuz they fill you up! Very nice ambience in the back, admist trees all lit up. Pretty spot. Really quick... More

We went there for a couple of drinks (happy hour before 6pm). Their pinacolada was really good. We came back the next day for just a dessert and had one of the best banana splits ever! Also quite nice to sit outside in their small garden.

This restaurant looks dim and uninviting from the street. Go in anyway! Walk all the way to the back where there is a lovely outdoor garden seating area. Makes all the difference in the world. We enjoyed the food and the wait staff was prompt and helpful. Eating in the garden area added to the overall enjoyment of our meal.

The afternoon happy hours(3-5) drop the price of cocktails down quite a bit. Food delightful, staff efficient and you can watch the herons and blue magpies in the garden. The Pina coladas are huge glasses of pineapple (ice) cream and booze just so refreshing after a hot day at the beach. Worked our way through the other cocktails too -... More

We ate here a couple of times during our stay in Montezuma. The food was simply wonderful and there were plenty of vegan options. If you can, try to stop in during happy hour (3 - 5 pm, I believe) for discounted drinks and appetizers. The pina colada and anything made with their homemade coconut milk is highly recommended!

Loved the chicken & rice dish - quite tasty & comes with patacones & side salad. Deee-licious mocha chocolate "Chiller"....made with fresh homemade coconut milk (sorta like a milkshake but it's a healthy version). They also have incredibly fabulous homemade gourmet healthy chocolates - a truly wonderful treat to pleasure your tastebuds !

After a few days in Montezuma, or weeks in Costa Rica, and you can't stand Casado, burritos, rice and plantain anymore, you'll find here some alternatives. We both had the catch of the day, my husband with a creamy shrimp sauce and mine with jalapeño. It was an all right change but nothing to remember fondly. And bloody expensive!
