The service is bad. Young people interested in their smartphones. Apathy all around and then the 2x1 is just one cocktail divided in two glasses. Waste of money. Try to avoid it!

You probably need to get seats at front for the perfect visit but this was the best eating experience we've had in Costa Rica so far! We had the best tuna I have ever tasted in my life - wonderful rare but so good you could eat it raw if sushi is you thing. We also had calamari that was... More

Came here with my wife due to the amount of reviews concerning the view of the sunset and the "casados". The view is not worth noting and the food was ok. We spent 10 days in Costa Rica and only found 2 places that had delicious "casados" (typical Costa Rican food). And this place is not one of them. The... More

A heavy downpour made us run into the nearest place. This was it. We ordered drinks and dried off. It has a great view of the beach so you can soak in the activities without getting sand on your feet.

Our group is not generally a beach scene group, but we needed to check it out. So we wandered down the beach awhile, then needed to get away. So we went to El Sol on the recommendation of the desk clerk at our hotel. It is upstairs, just across the road from the beach. It has a fabulous view, and... More

We went for lunch and had a lovely lunch of local grilled fish. The menu offers a lot of variety and chef adapts it as you wish. the view is open to the beach and we enjoyed leisurely drinks and long lunch beating the heat of mid-day and watching the ocean. Very fun.

Good open air restaurant. Food was good with the bonus of seeing a sloth making its way along the power lines opposite. Had local food which we all enjoyed except the sauce with the shrimp cocktail was a bit strange tasting, more like a salsa. All in all good service and good prices.

Fans keep you cool and you can people watch and take it easy. Food simple but very good. Had a starter that was easily a main meal.

We came here our first night in town. Wanted to watch NCAA basketball because Gonzaga and Oregon were playing. Our server, Fabian was fantastic. Found the games for us, and they even stayed open late so we could watch the end of the games. Food was good, and drinks were strong and fairly priced. Service was best we've had.

Good food. Liked the fish dishes especially. Great break spot for lunch when on the beach. Can't beat the prices too.
