We stayed at vista de olas hotel. And nelly and Jaimie cook up some great food. They do good steaks. Really tasty sea bass with great service

This restaurant / lounge/ pool happy hour has a different thing going! Super cool place to see the sunset! Have some good drinks, they make great fresh piña coladas and margaritas, and have a really good steak! You can eat there or not.... we did and it was awesome! Choice of chicken, ribs, fish or steak.... yummy! All BBQ STYLE... More
Definitely spend at least one sunset here during your stay in this area. The minimum drink purchase if you're not a hotel guest deal is annoying but really not that bad--pretty reasonable, actually.
Just read my text about the hotel..... I won't return! The service is not acceptable...... You order and hours later you get your order, if you are lucky. I ordered a mojito virgin and got some water on ice and two leafs of peppermint........
Be prepared to be treated like a second-class citizen if you're just visiting, not a guest at the hotel. (The place is small and family run, so they'll know whether you are or not.) We had heard about the "amazing infinity pool" and bar, but were made to feel so unwelcome, we left without ever seeing it. There was an... More
We found Vista de Olas during accommodation research. Although we decided not to stay here (Airbnb was the way to go) we knew we had to stop by for drinks! It's a fun (bumpy) drive up, great for ATVs and there's parking right by the pool. Infiniti pool and hot tub over the ocean - there's not much else to... More
Absolutely stunning views and highly recommend for sunset drinks. It did get really busy during sunset, so arrive a bit earlier if you can. The drinks were ok (nothing special) and we didn't eat there (the menu didn't look very appetizing at the time).
Meals start with an extensive fresh salad bar, BBQ choices or steak and fish are excellent. Meals are well prepared and setting can't be beat!
The food was really quite delicious and seemed to be reasonably priced in comparison to local restaurants as well. If you come here I highly recommend their frozen blended mint mojito of which they use their own grown fresh mint and the bacon wrapped filet mignon was awesome as well!
