Breakfast fruit bowel with granola and yogurt was very healthy as we're the breakfast burritos. Dinner salads were healthy and we loved the cheese platter. It is a mellow and clean place to eat and nice to have here at Pranamar.

This restaurant was divine! We enjoyed several tapas dishes (the tuna tartar can't be beat) while lounging on the patio overlooking the sunset on the water. The decor was just perfect--beachy, yet modern.

My husband and I went here because of the reviews of the tapas, but we were not very impressed. The food was average at best, and a bit pricey. Maybe the disappointment was because of the several other GREAT restaurants in the area, and I have had much better tapas in Chicago. I will say thought the drinks were great,... More

Excellent food at a good price with an amazing view. Best place to eat in Mal Pais for sure. Good selection of dishes and wine.

We tried a number of restaurants while in the area and this was in our top two. Great food, service and a view to die for. Up high with monkeys, birds in trees nearby and surf off in the distance. A great spot for a romantic meal.

Some may find the hike up the steps difficult but the food, the view and the service make the trip well worth it! We went at sunset and enjoyed 5 or 6 beautifully executed tapas dishes and cocktails. The cuisine is creative and the chef is obviously very talented. The atmosphere was magical. A truly memorable experience.

A really stylish place with a welcoming atmosphere. Great restaurant with an inventive menu, wonderful views and lovely cocktails. We also stayed here at Moana Lodge - highly recommended. Breakfasts are really good too though fairly pricey if not staying as guests. If you are not a dog fan let Aidan know and he will keep the lively pair away... More

My friends and I were in town for one night and we definitely picked the best place to eat! All the tapas were delicious and Aiden the owner was a super great host! As a fellow Costa Rican chef/owner of a restaurant- I know how hard it can be and Aiden's food and service were far above par for CR!... More

The climb to get to Papaya was unexpected but the food, drinks and ambiance more than made up for it. We had a few glasses of wine, five different dishes. Views are wonderful. Great experience. 😋
