Have eaten here several times - great locally run spot, good selection. No liquor on the menu but they are happy to show you which way to dash down for a couple of cold beers to bring back and have with your meal..

Visited this restaurant for lunch after returning from Zip lining in Arenal. The reviews on TripAdvisor indicated that it's a cheap eats, so I thought why not. As I entered, someone welcomed me immediately and told me I could choose any seat of my liking....More
My husband, two boys, and I ate here our first night in La Fortuna because someone recommended this place on another Trip Advisor posting. We ordered the nachos as an appetizer and four meals for $20 USD! We drank water so that was free. Everyone...More
Place dirty, food that maybe is ok but when you see the condition of how they wash ingredients and how people come to take the order become all disgusting, owner really not friendly and too greedy to the money instead than happiness of customer!
Our hotel included a breakfast here, so we saw it a few times. We're both fussy eaters, but this place still gave us a few options to work with each morning. Got bored with the options one morning, actually looked at the kids menu. Coffee...More
The food was pretty good, although my chicken was a little dry, my wife loved her fish. The location is right on a fairly quiet corner of town and the walls are open on both sides for good airflow and the feeling of patio seating.
Huge portions, fresh food and excellent options. We've been twice in two days and had the pollo con salsa, res con salsa, arroz con shrimp and chicken burrito. All delicious. We regretted not going back for dinner! Probably again tomorrow... In and out under $25...More
Good spot near our hotel - had a great lunch of local specialties. Quick, convenient and tasty! I had the arroz con pollo and my partner had the grilled chicken plate - both were great and reasonably priced.

We stopped here for a quick lunch. The food is decent and inexpensive. Mostly Typical CR food, meat/rice dishes are a good bet. Pura Vida!
Great local fresh food in casual open setting just out of the heavy tourist district. I had the house special at a bargain about 6us$. A comp bite size arroz con leche followed, yum.
The Arroz con Pollo was the best we had in Costa Rica. We ate lunch there twice. Friendly staff, good value.
Not a bad place to eat. Friendly staff with quick service. We has breakfast here every morning with a voucher from the hotel.
A great local "Soda" with good food and reasonable prices. "Typical" food at a great location with great service. Popular with the locals and lots of activity to watch while eating.
After a really bad experience at the number one restaurant on tripadvisor Soda viquez, we gave this restaurant a chance and were more than happy with our choice. Both of us ordered the special of the day, my husband ordered the beef and I ordered...More
