Food was pretty good but watch out for prices. Menu says one thing and then you get to counter to pay and it's another price.

$2. for a sandwich!? Crazy, but true. Nice staff, old fashioned decor, yummy. We got a double cheeseburger and also the salad plate. Tasty! Chocolate cobbler was delish. Go.

We decided to stop in after seeing pictures of the banana split! I had never had a banana split before (not into ice cream) but had been craving one for a change. My boyfriend got the Rueben and I the Philly Cheesesteak. Both were really good, but the Rueben was probably the best one I've ever had. I know I... More

Nice place downtown. Was not busy. Asked what Ice cream flavors.. gave a print out list. Ordered... "WE DON'T HAVE THAT..". Ordered a shake instead.. old fashion made.. which I lied.. then came in large glass container, plus the metal mixing cup.

Stepping through the feels like walking into a 1950's novel. Your greeted with the warmest of smiles as sit down at the counter where you can chat it up with the staff as they hand dip your favorite flavor or have them create the best cheeseburger you ever put in your mouth. There are also charming tables where you can... More

The original ice cream parlor has been renovated and is awesome. Had the chicken salad sandwich, then a double scoop of ice cream. Lots of history.

Here with my husband and kid after a hike. Walk in and the place is empty except for a few girl at the end of the bar eating. We stand there a little lost when one of the girls says hey yall going to need menus or you just getting ice cream? I say I think just ice cream as... More

Several of us stopped in for ice cream, pie, and a sundae and we plan to return sometime for a real meal. This was a pharmacy and pictures and memorabilia of the building's past dated back to the early 1900s decorates the walls of the well lit, high ceilinged restaurant. The service was immediate and very friendly. The desserts, service,... More

Quaint ice cream parlor with good food and great shakes made the old fashioned way. Check out the old prescriptions wallpapered in the bathrooms!
