Been there several times, the food is great, the portions big och the prices reasonable. The service is very good despite some language barriers if you only speak English. The setting and atmosphere are also good.

We enjoyed our lunch here. We were rewarded with a tasty meal with just the right amount of spice for our palate. We had two types of lamb. Very tender lamb ribs with cumin, and a lamb stew were both delicious. A shredded chicken salad...More

This is as good as it gets in terms of authentic Xinjiang cuisine from the distance region in China where they grow and eat lamb in many forms. The food is spicy and the tastes just hit you right with distinctive spices. Make sure you...More

Some cuisines allow themselves to be melded into European style haute cuisine. Xinjiang cuisine is not one of them. It just loses too much authenticity and, with Xinjiang food, authenticity is everything. The food is really very good, and the staff friendly and professional, so...More

Former French Concession
While there are technical borders to the area formerly

is a favorite of the city's foreign residents. While
it is mostly within the Xuhui district, residents will
sometimes include parts of Jing'an and Luwan in their
mental maps of the Former French Concession. The area
seems frozen in time, characterized by quiet,
