food is good and service is very friendly, worth to try We ordered the all-you-can eat, and for three people together can get one person free, good deal!

4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 September 2013

My out-of-town visitor wanted Asian food and I like Japanese. The location was convenient. The prices have increased, but the all-you-can-eat "buffet" menu with free flow of green tea and Asahi beer on tap was worth it for 398 rmb pp plus something. We had a large variety of sushi, sashimi, appetizers, sakatori, teppanayaki, noodles, rice, and two desserts each.... More

Not that there's anything very wrong with this place. It's just that because it's a Four Seasons restaurant, I had rather high expectations. Instead it's just a pretty average restaurant. The food, the decor, the service...there's nothing memorable about the place. By all means, go there for a quick meal. Just don't expect it's going to be a dining experience.

The food was good not exceptional, the floor to ceiling windows made for a dramatic view but otherwise a cold feeling space, the service was OK, though the staff all on ear pieces gave it an inpersonal touch, The three of us ended up with a bill of $450 that included one medium priced bottle of white wine and one... Staying in Jing'an

Neighbourhood Profile
Jing'an
The heart of this neighborhood is the Jing'an Temple, while the main artery of excitement and entertainment is West Nanjing Road. Close to the Former French Concession, the area has a similar draw for foreign residents but displays a more commercial character. Large, flashy malls, luxe residential high-rises and trendy nightlife areas can be found along West Nanjing Road, but areas off the busy street have the same quiet cafes and independent boutiques that many people think of as distinctive of the Former French Concession. Jing'an is less encased in amber, though, and it's possible to immerse yourself more fully in the energy of China's most bustling metropolis here.
