Brunch at Maya certainly satisfied a Mexican craving in Shanghai. Decor was great and the chicken fajitas I had very very tasteful. I would recommend this place for anyone with a craving for Mexican food.

Read great reviews of this restaurant on City Weekend and was craving for Mexican food. I've got to say that this was one of the best Mexican with Chinese influence foods that I've had. Definitely the food that we ordered were all delicious! Miguel, the...More

We really enjoyed our brunch date here yesterday. The food was well executed and the free flow Ritas where on point, both where only out done by the service. Fantastic service in Shanghai sets Maya above the rest here in Shanghai. Cant wait to go...More

Maya is tucked away in Shanghai but worth the trip! The staff is friendly and amazing and the owner is even nicer! The food is the highlight as well as the bottomless margaritas which are super strong!

Food all tasted quite delicious, just don't expect a traditional Mexican menu like you'd find at a place in the U.S. Seemed more fusion than anything. I loved the glazed pork ribs and guacamole appetizers, the chicken taco salad was also delicious (just a bit...More

One of my best service experiences in Shanghai! The food was very tasty and the staff took care about any dietary requirements (vegetarian, gluten free, etc.). Also they handled a bigger group (20 people) well without any complaints. If you are vegetarian, you cannot choose...More

[RW] Visited Maya for the first time on occasion of the Restaurant Week! Food was very good and service very correct, enjoyed the Spinach&Cheese Empanadas probably more than the Red Kingfish Aguachile, a bit tastier and more elaborated! On the main courses they were good...More

Former French Concession
While there are technical borders to the area formerly

I'm not sure how to answer this as we were simply guests at the restaurant. The food and service were excellent.
