It was refer by one of my friend, and happen to be with one of my biggest potential customer and the experience is totally bad for the price we have paid. Can you believe we paid RMB 12,000 for 10 person? And we got a really normal decoration and really no atmosphere and the food is not bad but really... More

Their English sign claims to be the "best teppanyaki in Shanghai" and I would agree. Indeed, this is one of the restaurants my family looks forward to every time we come to Shanghai. We love the freshness of the king prawn and beef; our favorite is the foie gras.

I liked 2 things about this place: service and the atmosphere. Really attentive, friendly and very helpful. Good food too, but the prices are pretty high though. Large variety of fixed price menus.

Great food, good and constant quality! Service is very attentive and friendly! But unless you are on your own, booking is absolutely required! Not cheap but worse every penny! For me the best Teppanyaki in Shanghai.

Have been here 4 times. Food always top notch. Steaks, lobster and shrimp are delicious. Private rooms provide good atmosphere for entertaining customers. Staff are very attentive and eager to please. Fixed price menus around 1,000 RMB.

I come here every time I am here in Shanghai. By the way its called XIN BIN, not XIN BING...! :) Service is 1st class, generally I am with people, business colleagues, customers or suppliers. This week I went alone - no difference in service - very attentive and I had a teppan table in a private room all on... More

Staying in Gubei / Hongqiao / Minhang

Neighbourhood Profile
Gubei / Hongqiao / Minhang
West of Shanghai’s better-known business, cultural and entertainment centers, lies an expansive area of residential neighborhoods peppered with lifestyle pockets that have their own unique attractions. The schools have formed pockets of international communities throughout Gubei, Hongqiao and Minhang. Quite a few entertainment and shopping centers have built up over the years to cater to these communities. While living here means you are relatively far away from Shanghai’s usual hot spots, the large parks, spacious homes and proximity to great Japanese and Korean food keep the neighborhoods popular.
