I have to admit that it was a quiet unique experience as their menu is mostly pork. Tried to eat chicken and chicken truffle dumplings but we have reserve as they don't make a lot of these. But the result was amazing. Best dumplings ever

Often come here for dinner. You will have to wait to be seating as this is a very popular restaurant but it's worth the waiting. The dumplings are really good although a bit on the pricey side. Black truffle xiaolongbao and pork with hairy crab...More

I have been to this place many times before. If you go around 1:30-2:00, it will not be as crowded as it usually is. The food is magnificent . We didn't have to wait a long time either! My experience was great at Din Tai...More

I had lunch at the Xintiandi branch and was extremly impressed by the service (friendlyness, organisation and effiency). It was so busy, with at least 30 people waiting, and handled so well by the staff. And yes, very tasty Xiaolongbao.

The refurbishment of a block of old shikumen into a
carless entertainment center called Xintiandi, filled
with restaurants, shops and bars, turned this area
below South Huangpi Road into one of Shanghai’s most
fashionable areas. Luxe condos house people who can
afford the high-end brands that fill the malls and

Ding Tai Fung does not post their prices online. The queue could be long during meal times, however, they would give you a menu to order ahead of time. This list would indicate the prices to you. It may be slightly more... More
