Appearance of the food was ok but the taste did not come up to my standards based on my Grandmother’s cooking or my mother’s cooking. And this was for the most basic country dishes, especially the greens.

Really good food. We have visited the Phenix City Eds several times and the food is always good. We tried the new location in Ladonia and it was awful. I really hope they get the kinks worked out of the Ladonia location soon.
Southern Country Cooking with more choices than you will ever see anywhere at a Country Buffet! We eat there at least 2 - 4 times a month. Great to take a whole family, since the choices have something for everybody, even the picky eaters!!

Today was my first time eating at Ed's and I was not disappointed. I had a vegetable plate with dressing/cranberry sauce, yams, collards, and mac & cheese. Everything was delicious. It's the best country cooking I've had in this general area. I'll definitely be back.
