I very rarely give unfavorable reviews, so when I feel its appropriate, I usually wait a week or so to make sure my feelings weren't unjust. In this case I waited two, and cannot justify myself to feel any differently. Firstly, wait time was ~30 min at the table, turned out to be about 75, fine. Thought things would pick... More

This was probably our best dinner out in Orange Beach. The pecan crusted catfish was amazing, probably the best I've ever had. Everything else was wonderful too. The view outside at sunset is amazing. I recommend calling ahead to reserve a table outside if you go near sunset. Amazing restaurant.

Cobalt margarita was great. Fried shrimp appetizer was much larger than expected and super. The service was top notch. You might have to wait.

After hearing of this restaurant for some time I was excited to finally give it a try. I can wait longer before I try again. Really nothing special about the menu or venue. The outside bar is the only thing that would attract me for a return visit. The food is uninspiring and the servers could care less about it.... More

Even though the atmosphere was casual, the food was a little too fancy for our family. I do not eat seafood.at.all. I wound up just getting a couple side dishes because there just were not many other choices.

For of a fine dining on the water place. Food is good but service is a little condescending. I guess the cater to a more hob-knobing crowd and not to your average joe. Wasn't impressed.

Nice, big place that offers indoor and outdoor seating. No matter your taste, there is a table or seat that will fit you fine. The staff is well-trained and accommodating. The food is prepared and presented in a manner that shows the quality of the planning and execution in the kitchen! You just cannot go wrong visiting Cobalt! The Tuna... More

Great staff, be sure to look at the huge fish tank in the entrance. The meal we had was a starter of the Tuna and avocado with an Asian drizzle. I could have made that a meal it was so good. For the main's we had the Bronze Grouper that was so moist and flakey. The crab and sauce was... More

While vacationing with the family, we alternate dinners out and dinners in and we talk to folks we know and we check TripAdvisor for recommendations. One of the top suggested places in Orange Beach (near Perdido) for dinner is Cobalt. Cobalt has a great setting (harbor side) with a large patio and a good bar. There's lots of seating and... More

We went here in April for a special date night out and we are thoroughly pleased. We loved how they used the "text you option" when your table was ready. We had a very pleasant and attentive waitress and the views were so pretty. We loved the atmosphere with the fireplace and strung lights. Try the firecracker shrimp!!! It is... More
