Fantastic food! The fillet was wonderful and cooked to perfection, the bread was outstanding, the bread pudding was wonderful, my sister’s pork dinner was incredible!

We visited ORange Beach for birthday this year and i was not prepared with how good this food would be!! OH MY GOODNESS! Everything was fresh and delicious. The are only open from 4pm to 10pm. So i suggest you get there early. Our wait...time was about 1.5 hours. I would definitely visit again. I do hate that BIg Mikes are only located in Alabama!! GO!! you wont be disappointed!!More

Very good food and very good service. Always a queue and parking is ok. The Filet Mignon is superior. Salads are good. Tuna is for some people who like Tuna.

We waited about 40 minutes for a table. Our server was prompt to take our drink order. The steaks tasted great! Mine was slightly under cooked, and the server recognized this and took it back right away. The sweet potato was super hot and tasty!...The bread pudding was fabulous!! So big and so much ice cream all for $8.00! Great taste and reasonably priced as well!! We would definitely dine at Mikes again when we are in Orange Beach.More

I ordered a simple hamburger and it was so dry! Anyone that can cook can make better food. Bad service and poor staffing (like everyone else). I hate this, I really wanted to like this restaurant.

While waiting for a table appetizers and drinks in the rear bar area are available. We tried the Fried Wickles Pickles and Hand breaded Fried Cheese! Both were amazing loaded fries looked real good to. It's great they offer to let you share entrees for...$8 and it adds a salad with extra side so definitely a deal to prevent lots of leftovers .The 24 oz ribeye was probably the best steak I have gotten from a restaurant and definitely enough to share . I got it Smothered that adds Onions and mushrooms but it's in a bowl on the side they are real good also they taste like there cooked in french onion soup. Salads were above Average although the twice baked potatoes were way above average definitely try them. Wish I could have tried the Cajun fried rice but already had to much food . They also bring some high quality bread to the table with sweet butter that's very good.More

This was our second time to eat at Big Mike’s and it didn’t disappoint! We went on a Monday and arrived at 4:40, thinking we’d beat the crowd. There was already a line and we were told that it would be a 45 minute wait....Thankfully, the wait was only 20 minutes. Our young server was very friendly and accommodating. My wife and I both ordered 9 oz. filets with baked potatoes and salad. Entrées come with delicious freshly baked bread with cinnamon butter, which was oh so good. Our salads were a good size and the steaks and potatoes were cooked perfectly. We commented while we were eating that we’d much rather eat at Big Mike’s than Ruth’s Chris or a high end restaurant like that, for the money. All told, including tip, our bill was $104. We departed at 6:20pm, an hour and 40 minutes after arrival. Not bad for a great steak. There was only one small negative. Like others have commented, you’d think with the crowds they have each night that they could invest in asphalt in the parking lot. Like with our prior visit, it was raining and the parking lot was a mess. Ladies in nice shoes, beware.More

Highlight is the food served. This location is rough from the gravel parking lot to the old building inside and out. Don't dress up to go IOO. We split the $42, 42 oz Big Mike ribeye for $8 more and felt that is a great...choice. Our waitress, Miranda, was efficient but not very friendly. The other 2 couples we went with to celebrate my wife's birthday enjoyed their steak dinners too. They also chose the upcharge of $8 to split theirs. They appear to open at 3 now. We arrived at 4ish and there was a 1.5 hr wait. We went to the back bar. We were seated in about an hour. Note: I think it's time for the owners to invest a little back into their place. This is the only location in this area.More

Excellent steak and even better service. Be prepared to wait but it’s well worth the wait. We arrived at 5 pm and there was already an hour wait. The steak was amazing and so worth the wait.

Erica is the best server. Steaks, Tuna Salad, Baked Potatoes Black Bread and Potato Wedges are superior and very good Bread Pudding. Long queue on a Wednesday before Labor Day. Good menu selection.

It was my husband's birthday and he wanted to go to Big Mike's. It was raining , we dodged all the rain filled pot holes in the parking lot trying to get to the door. It is a 30 minute wait. We go inside and...the sign on the bar says for eating guests only. We are told there is a bar outside, but the walk way is under water. It is one big puddle. When we are seated, Erica is our waitress. She immediately suggest I move to a different chair because of the AC vents. She was right, it was cold. Erica was busy, but very efficient without making us feeling rushed. She was the kind of waitress everyone wants. Great smile,eager to make your meal a good one. She always spoke as she went by our table. My husband loved the rib eye,I enjoyed the shrimp. I guess if you don't mind the puddles and potholes and wait, it is a good place for you to eat.More

We were hesitant to eat here due to the huge crowds we always see here and the fact that they don’t take reservations. We arrived at 4:30 and the parking lot was packed. The hostess told us the wait for a table for 2 would...be 45 minutes and pointed us to a bar around the back of the restaurant where we could wait. The outdoor bar made the wait pleasant and seemingly quick. Our steaks were fantastic and we were glad we gave this place a try.More
