We had a catered event there and it was tremendous. The food was great and in abundance. Had a fabulous experience and hope to go back.

We drive over 100 miles at least once a month to eat here. The atmosphere is awesome and the food is great. However, call ahead to see if they are open. Our last trip was a bust. We were very disappointed when we arrived @ 4:00 on a Sunday and they were closed. Their website clearly says they are open... More

I've eaten here many times, but went back, it has been a few years. They used to serve white beans, slaw and cornbread that was unlimited, no more beans! The slaw was great and the cornbread also. Catfish was just okay. I ordered collard greens and they were tasty. For what you get, not sure it is worth it anymore.

We recently returned to restaurant and I again had the fried catfish. It was cooked well and the cornbread they serve is gluten free we were told. Plenty of fixings to got along and plenty to eat

I was recently at Cock of the Walk with a friend. We had crawfish for an appetizer, a Lil under cooked but edible. But the shrimp basket he had and the oyster basket I had were way under cooked. We told the waitress, who told the manager who literally looked at the food and said, " it's under cooked?". I... More

The service was excellent. Food was out of this world. They have the best chicken tenders you will ever have. Lindsay and Ryan were the best hostess and server i have ever had. Very friendly and welcoming. Next time i am back in Opelika i will definitely be back to enjoy their amazing food.

The food was over-priced for the small serving size I received (regarding my entrée). The service was so awful that we almost got up and left after our appetizer. The fried pickles were delicious and crispy, though, and the coleslaw and cornbread was great! I also really enjoyed the jumbo shrimp.

My friend and I meet up here 3 or 4 times a month. The food is tasty. We usually get crawfish for an app and get oysters or shrimp for our meal. The tea is served in old tin cups, which is a novel idea.. Makes the tea seem colder. They also have a pond out back so you can... More

First, for my beverage,I ordered water with lemon...the portion cup of lemons brought to me were so mushy they stuck to my hands when I tried to squeeze them. A second cup was brought, and they were the same way. For my entree, I ordered chargrilled white fish, and it, too, was unbelievably mushy. It had no taste, no texture,... More

We absolutely ate too much because by the time you eat the little pan of cornbread, then your tail-on catfish (crisped up just right), and all of the sides, you are stuffed. The bread was okay, but just a little dry for me which means it needed more grease. :) Beverages, if you imbibe, are well priced. Actually, a glass... More
