Great for either breakfast or lunch. Be prepared to stand in line at lunch, but it's worth the wait. Excellent spot for a quick meat and 3.

i would buy a meal ticket for 20 meals and pay 40.00 for it. i would then get a second plate for half price back in the day. not sure why i don't weigh 400 pounds. great good ol southern food

The food is goon and service is great very crowded and is a landmark establishment in a college town. Long lines are to be expected
"You'll never get in there!" my friend warned. Whatever. So I waited a teensy bit and it was worth it. Baked chicken, mashed & gravy, green beans, corn bread, half sweet and unsweet. Just go.
Not only is the food good, fast and cheap... but the place actually has an interesting ambience. The pictures on the wall will entertain you if you tire of watching the staff race to and fro filling orders.
