I love spicy food! And at Saigon Deli, you can get it as spicier as you want your food to be. My wife got her noodles mild and she loved it. Fried noodles, noodle bowl with chicken are some of my favorites. I have been told by some foodies that it tastes as close to authentic Vietnamese as it could... More

Okay...it is pretty much Montgomery's only stop for Pho. But I love the spicy beef broth soup and always start my meals with a Summer Roll. I highly recommend!

We visit this place more than any other in Montgomery. We end up getting about the same thing everytime because it is so good (the vermicelli curry soup). We like it a lot, the service isn't what we go for, the food is!

I first experience Vietnamese cuisine in Birmingham, Alabama. It became one of my favorites. I was thankful to find Saigon Deli when I moved to Montgomery a few years ago. It is by far my favorite restraunt in town. The atmosphere is somewhat humorous. The place was formerly a Logan Farms restraunt. I know this because the wall paper still... More

The food is definitely the star here because the restaurant is a little tacky and a little worn. Nice selection of meals ranging from your usual fried rice to Pho, a Vietnamese staple. Great egg rolls and we LIKED the service (and we're all pretty white). The owner was very helpful in determining just how hot we wanted things and... More

I concede the risk in just the inference of "preferred" customers; but Asians are treated distinctly different in this restaurant. My wife and I are white; we were greeted with a bland stare and a pointing of the waitress to a nearby table. We were not offered/asked about drinks; she arrived with pad in hand. When I asked if they... More

On a cold winter's day, Pho certainly hits the spot! And the other menu selections are excellent. My only gripe is that the restaurant was closed for about six weeks during the coldest time of the year.

I never thought I'd be interested in Vietnamese, but I went in here on a lark a couple of years ago. They serve Pho--pronounced fuh--make all the jokes you want. What the fuh you eatin? But once I got used to the menu, I was intrigued. I really like the soups and the vermicelli bowls. Crispy egg rolls and cilantro... More

This is a place that we frequently go to when we travel to Montgomery. They have food that pleases everyone in our diverse family, from our fussy 2 year-old to our vegetable-avoiding 12 year-old to our vegetarian teeenagers. The atmosphere is casual, and they have a great fish tank to keep the little one occupied. The food is pretty good... More

I like this place! Cheap food, good tea....service is half-hearted, but certainly not "rude". The fresh rolls are great. Soup is ok....At one time I thought it was great until I experienced a proper Pho place in Atlanta. Atmosphere is pitiful....but that just adds a touch of authenticity. Anyway, if other Vietnamese placed existed here, I would avoid, but it's... More
