Excellent local flavor and charm fill this place. Located in an older southern era homes neighborhood, we found this place on a whim. The Shrimp Gumbo over grits was fantastic! The breakfast bowl was awesome as well. THE BISCUITS, oh the biscuits can't explain you just have to have one! Great coffee and a wonderfully happy staff can really turn... More

Awesome food. We were with my parents, and on our way to visit the Oakleigh House after visiting the USS Alabama. We looked up Cream & Sugar and saw it was well rated, and we are so glad we atopped by. The service and owner are lovely, and shared wonderful hospitality with us. The cute cafe is nestled in a... Such a cute little cafe, with super healthy and hearty choices for breakfast! I am gluten free and it is always difficult to know where to eat, but this little cafe does it! :) Acai bowls, smoothies, eggs, bacon...great coffee..you name it!

I went there for lunch. The chicken salad sandwich was excellent. And the desserts are unbelievable. I will be going back.

Had the gumbo and a house coffee. Both were great. They had a ton of cake balls that sounded delicious, but I didn't get to try. Really nice place!

I used to frequent this place quite often and I think I wrote a positive review years ago. I liked it. I came back last summer and they were busy and the people working seemed to not know what they were doing. I thought it was an off day. I came back again today and was sadly disappointed again with... More

Dropped in to Cream and Sugar Cafe for a quick bite of ice cream to take on the road after lunch next door at Kitchen on George. This cute coffee shop, cafe looked inviting but the ice cream was bad - icy and freezer burned. I was very disappointed with my $3 scoop of ice cream.

Our breakfast was served quickly, delicious and filling. The coffee selection was impressive and the staff friendly and helpful. Susan Carley, the owner, was like hiring a tour guide for Mobile, offering suggestions about where to go and what to see and where to eat. Start your Mobile visit here. It was well worth it.

My family and I had driven into Mobile on vacation and we were attempting to take a tour of the historic Oakleigh house. We arrived to early and found this wonderful place thanks to Trip Advisor. From the moment we walked in the door the aroma had us hooked. The staff was very friendly and the service was exceptional. We... More
