Most of the food here are spicy and relatively decent. Price is reasonable as well and not expensive. Nancy the boss is a good and friendly woman who knows how to make the customer happy. Good place to try Nyonya food though there are better alternatives in malacca. Service and nancys welcoming response to customers deserves a thumbs up!
I'm not sure if it's because of what we order but it wasn't very satisfying. We had the otak, Assam prawns, fried chicken roll (Ngo Huang), curry vegetables, cincalok omelette. It came up to 70 something ringgit. Including drinks and some crackers. The curry vegetables were good but the rest of the dishes was just satisfactory. Overall, Makko is better.
We were there for lunch hours, and expecting long queue, it turned out to be not so bad at all (average waiting of 30 mins). We got table at 2nd floor for 4 people. The food are heavenly, all the items we chose, are very good. Try the buah keluak, it was not bitter at all. The grass jelly was... More
Was exited to come again to have a good meal. Today lunch was disappointing. Hee Piou Soup / Assam Nanas Prawn was too saltish. Prawns is not fresh. Sambal Belachan is so so. It seems Nancy's is over rated. Won't be back again.
Many may say 'food is better' elsewhere. Maybe so, but I have found out each time i have been to Nancy's.. its MORE than just the food (which I rate highly) its the atmosphere, the service, the general ambiance as well as the truly friendly staff and owners that make this place my first place of call... AND because it... More
I had, Meat Roll, Poh Piah and Curry Chicken. Among all I enjoyed the Poh Piah the most, it was different from the usual I had. However Curry Chicken was a little too spicy for my liking.
The place is always crowded but the food is actually so so. Nothing spectacular. Don't know why people are raving about this place. Can find better and cheaper food elsewhere.
The foods in Nancy restaurant is fairly OK for me, potion is small and the location for the restaurant is abit out from the city. The space inside not big so is abit squeezy if you come in a big group. It will be better if u can make a reservation before heading down.
