The food is super sumptuous and pricing is reasonable, the wait time would be less if you plan before 1:30 PM.
Very busy restaurant for locals Watch out for the waiters who will charge you way over the top prices for crab etc. we were charged £50 for an average sized crab Absolute rip off
Fat Fish Takes Fat Time to Deliver as we waited for 30 minutes to have seat & 45 minutes to have food and by that time the real appetite was over Sea Food Variety is ample and Food taste is OK
Great food and great ambience. Only problem, long queue/waiting time. It’s worth the wait time, lovely seafood. Only issue this time was the unavailability of draught beer.
This is a terribly terribly overrated place. Not a goan specialty restaurant but more likd a multicuisine hodge-podge restaurant. Unclean, choitic with no attention to ingredients or food. Definitely not a place to visit for good food experience. Forget the wait.. we can wait if...the following food is good. But the foood is really not worth it. If you still go and are waiting, do go and see the Cristiano Ronaldo statue right ahead.. while you wait..for terrible food😁More
the food is amazing, beyond compare than any restaurant in Goa. The Service is quick, value for money. Request everyone to visit this restaurant once in your lifetime.
My husband and I came to Fat Fish during the week for lunch. We ordered the seafood platter and we’re blown away by the taste! The seafood is some of the best we have ever eaten. We had to wait about 20 minutes which was...fine as the waiter explained they have to properly wash, clean and cook the seafood fresh. Do yourself a favour and order the cheesy garlic naan - probably the best we have had in India! The service is 5 star and they are incredibly attentive to your every need. It’s such a nice clean venue! 5 stars! Get in early for lunch as it it’s packed by 1pmMore
Ambiance: We visited this place for lunch, and on the first impression, we liked the place. Its location is quite good, with decent surroundings, there's an enclosed lake behind the restaurant. The place was lively and had decent seating arrangements also keep in mind when...we visited it was completely packed, so we have to for like 10-15minutes to get a seat. This place also has live streaming of Cricket/Football matches on decent enough big TV Screens. It has a highway roadside view with decent music. Overall, we liked the place for its ambiance, can't comment on night time though. Food: First of all, please don't look through the menu of this place that you can find on Google/Zomato, etc, that menu is quite outdated. We were quite surprised to see that the current menu has removed some of the items and has drastically increased the prices of each and every item. Now coming to the taste and quality, I have found the veg food items were just average, whereas my friends who had non-veg items, really liked both their items. We've ordered mixed (veg/non-veg) items, from Cream Mushroom and Stuffed Crabs to Veg Biryani(funnily enough in Goa, either they don't know what a Biryani is OR they just serve vegetable pulao as Veg Biryani). We liked the starters/appetizers, but the veg main course -> Veg Biryani was just straight away awful. On the other hand, our friends really liked their main course items -> King Fish. Staff: As I said earlier, we had to wait since the place was full and the staff was quite helpful in that, I have found in some places where they have rush/full packed, the staff becomes a bit frustrated OR annoying, but here it was different, maybe because its more of a tourist place. They're quite helpful in all manners. But I have to mention that we've been attended by a trainee/newbie who doesn't have a single clue about the food items OR what the ingredient etc. Even after waiting a bit, asking, and looking around when no senior/regular attendee came, we've placed the order. As usual, since we were being managed by an attendee, we were not being asked if we want to add/remove any ingredients OR want the dish to cook differently, OR any sort of allergy OR issue with the ingredients of the items we were ordering, although when looking around, I didn't notice any other attendee doing that, OR maybe they were having their regular customers who have had memorized everything, but that's just my 2cents. Washroom: When we visited the place due to the enormous rush we neither use the handwash area nor the restrooms, so can't comment on that. Verdict: In my personal opinion, you should visit this place, but please only once, to get the feeling of dining in a premium restaurant. I have found, this place to a premium and expensive and only good for non-veg, OR traditional Goan dishes.More
Great dining experience average bill around 4k for a family of four. Greek salad , ginger garlic soup (average) tawa fry kingfish hummus and pita bread were good 👍 Apple pie was nice 😋 Indian dal fry was average Ample seating and good serive
Easy to locate, this restaurant has a great ambience and really good food! The menu offers a large variety of options to choose from. Excellent staff. Great continental seafood!
Heard a lot about this place, so went for lunch once. This place is just overhyped. Nothing special about this place. Just a normal restaurant. Food quality is just ok. Quantity is good. But their customer service is not at all good, which is most...important factor in this sector. Staffs are not professional, may be the place is overhyped & people are going, that’s why they don’t care about customer service. The day we visited, no one was at reception. Few seats were available, so we took the seats ourselves. Even after calling the staffs for menu, they were just not paying attention. Staffs were just standing but not paying attention to new customers. There are many other restaurants which are much more better than this place & serving much better quality of food & service ( a must try place is Brittos - Baga beach )More
FAT Fish has FAB fish . Excellent rachedo king fish & superb prawns . My son who doesn't eat fish ordered a chicken steak which was very good too. Good service . Clean & tidy place . The food will bring u back again
All I can is just… wow. The service is friendly, personable ,and fast. They are helpful with recommends based on your preferred spice levels. The food is tasty and reasonably priced. Highly recommend.
The food and ambience is good but having so many staff round not concerned with service nor prompt. The drinks were a disappointment and disaster, from being over priced to a taste fiasco. Certain things on the menu were also unavailable.
